The State of Hawaii has successfully installed a Corrections Managment System, Offendertrak 6.0, from Printrak, A Motorola Company.

Offendertrak 6.0 is a suite of state-of-the-art, integrated applications that automate the operational and administrative needs of today’s correctional facility. Built with the latest development tools, Offendertrak 6.0 represents the next generation in control and functionality for today’s modern correctional facilities including police departments, jails and prisons.

The new system will support those facilities on all islands in the state of Hawaii, serving eight corrections facilities, 5,500 inmates and 300 concurrent users on the same network.

Offendertrak offers an easy-to-use, easy-to-integrate and completely user configurable off-the-shelf software package. In addition to Offendertrak’s core capabilities of providing virtually unlimited demographic information, property, classification, trust accounting, movements, charges and release, Offendertrak 6.0 also offers full auditing capabilities. Every operation that occurs within the Offendertrak system is “time stamped” for the purpose of providing security to all involved parties, including the inmate.

The Offendertrak workflow manager allows the administrator and/or user to set up the processes that work within a particular agency. The user is prompted to complete each task required before moving on to the next.

Offendertrak offers one of the most versatile reporting systems in the industry today. It offers more than 150 standard reports that range from Facility to Bed level detail. The report wizard allows users to create focused reports based on the data contained within the system. These tailored reports can be for public use or kept for the individual user’s needs.

Additional new modules within Offendertrak 6.0 include: the Check Writer, which allows users to generate and maintain check registers; Document Import Wizard, which allows agencies to integrate the fields from their HTML documents into the fields on the Offendertrak system; and Electronic Signature, which allows the user to capture and embed signatures on documents that require authorization.
