September 11 Memorial Week Backdrop of Biometric Security Advances

BIO-key International, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: BKYI), the leader in finger-based biometric identification, announced today its security solutions will be showcased at several locations of the Oracle OpenWorld show from September 7-11 in San Francisco. BIO-key products will be part of the Oracle Security Command Center and included in live demonstrations involving trade show attendees.

It features multiple applications taking advantage of the latest in biometric security, geospatial, wireless and collaborative technologies, integrated in the most innovative solutions for enterprise and homeland security.
BIO-key's technology is also a part of the keynote address by Oracle Executive Vice President for Database Server Technologies, Chuck Rozwat. He will include BIO-key's finger-based identification system capabilities in the Technical General Session Keynote entitled, "Journey to the Center of the Grid" on Wednesday, September 10, from 9:45 to 10:45 AM. He will discuss how an enterprise identity management grid can be strengthened beyond username/password with enhanced authentication capabilities like BIO-key's fingerprint identification solution built on Oracle.

BIO-key will also be demonstrating its WEB-key technology as part of Intel's Wi-Fi Showcase at booth #414. Additionally, Ben Hammel, Senior Sales Engineer, BIO-key will be presenting live on Wednesday at 12:15pm, an overview of BIO-key's finger identification technologies. BIO-key will be highlighting Intel's 32 bit as well as 64 bit Itanium II technologies for server based applications and wireless computing.

WEB-key, the BIO-key product that authenticates individuals as they attempt to access information across computer networks, will be used throughout the trade show to enroll attendees in a daily prize drawing. Winners will be verified against the database established through enrollment. Other technologies integrated in this real-world application demonstration include Dell PCs, HP PCs and tablet computers, Xybernaut's wearable PCs, Oracle 9iAS, Oracle 9i, card readers, and finger print scanners
