Digital Broadband Networks Inc. to Conduct Seminars on Biometric Technology and Security Applications

FLEMINGTON, N.J.- Digital Broadband Networks, Inc. (OTCBB:DBBD) www.dbni.net today announced that its Malaysian subsidiary, Animated Electronic Industries Sdn Bhd, ("AEI") will be conducting a series of seminars on biometric technology and security applications. The half-day seminars, co-organized with Temasya Wira Sdn Bhd, are targeted at real estate developers, architects, government agencies and companies. Temasya Wira, a subsidiary of AEI, is involved in the research and development of biometric security applications.
The seminars are aimed at increasing awareness in the use of biometric technologies by government agencies to counter white collar crime and terrorism; and companies seeking high access security and accountability of their employees. The first in the series of seminars will be launched in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on October 21, 2003 by a senior government official. The venue for the seminar will be announced later.
Worldwide, the biometric market is forecasted to grow from US$116 million in 2000 to US$2 billion in 2006 and to more than US$5 billion by 2010.
