While these two technologies enable use of multiple biometric features for identification purposes and are ideal for addressing the security needs in today’s increasingly insecure environment, the former product offers solution for authentication, authorization, verification and identification management. It provides integrated support for Smart Cards, Tokens and Biometric (Voice, Iris, Vein, Face, Hand, Fingerprint and Signature) identifiers, enabling the implementation of context-sensitive, strong multi-layered authentication and authorizations policies to securely access, physical, client-server, legacy and web-based applications with privacy and convenience, Mr. Rao added.
Speaking about Touchless Finger Print System, Mr. Sudhir Rao informed that it is an out come of drawbacks of existing finger print scanners. This new technology overcomes the problems faced in old system. This latest technology incorporates a contact less finger print sensor, unlike the old one where one needs to touch to recognize and verify the identification. This new technology will now reduce the reading time and failure rate. The success rate is also very high even in the harsh environments such as oil, grease and water.
