The terminal is specifically designed to meet the demanding needs of the international high end access control market. It utilizes the award winning Lumidigm multispectral optical fingerprint sensor allowing the LA2000 to easily outperform conventional devices.The sensor technology can image both the external and identical internal fingerprint, which is made up of capillaries about 2mm below the skin surface. Combined together this information provides unsurpassed performance in any environment with all skin types; dry, dirty, aged, worn and ensures the world’s best protection from all types of fake finger attacks. The technology is being widely used in outdoor and high security environments such as Disney Hong Kong and Hong Kong immigration check points.
The LA2000 wraps the high reliability and high security Lumidigm technology in a package that is easy to install and use. The imaging is coupled with ZK’s fast and highly accurate fingerprint algorithm proving high throughput and compatibility with other ZK products and software. The LA2000’s ABS housing is durable and elegant in appearance. It is available in two versions; one is rated at IP54 for indoor and covered environments and an IP65 rated unit for direct outdoor applications.
