Travis Credit Union Selects BioLink Solution for Enterprise Logon - BioLink Solution Reduces Costs While Increasing Security and Convenience

Miramar, Florida - BioLink Technologies International, Inc., a leading security technology provider of advanced fingerprint biometric products, announced today that Travis Credit Union, one of the largest 50 credit unions in the United States, has selected the Biometric Authentication System (BAS), including an Authenteon Enterprise Server, from BioLink as its authentication solution for its more than 300 employees to increase computer network security as well as streamline password control and maintenance.

In an effort to increase internal logon security, Travis CU was searching for a strong authentication solution that would enable them to keep its strict password administration policy on their Windows NT server domain without requiring their users to remember password formats and changes. In addition, they wanted to select a solution that could be implemented quickly and easily without adding extra burden on network administrators and help desk staff.

To meet its needs, Travis CU installed U-Match Mouse and MatchBook digital fingerprint readers and Authentication Center (AC) version 4.5 software on local Windows 2000 clients. The AC software communicates with an Authenteon Enterprise appliance server for central management and fingerprint identification functions.

Richard Roark, AVP Network Operations, says, "Internal logon security has increased and biometric user feedback has been very positive. We are expecting a short term ROI due to the cost savings from no longer having to support lost and forgotten passwords."

Travis CU also recognized several ways to leverage BioLink's suite of other complimentary products, such as the WebSDk and Authenteon Cluster Array.
