IEEE established the Certified Biometrics Professional (CBP) Program to help identify individuals who have the knowledge and skills deemed essential for biometrics professionals. The IEEE CBP Program was developed by leading subject-matter experts from industry, government, and academia and offers an unbiased, third-party recognition of an individual’s abilities. Earning the IEEE CBP credential can:

The IEEE CBP Program requires candidates to pass a rigorous examination and promise to adhere to the IEEE CBP Code of Ethics.
