About Finger Log-on
Finger Log-On (FLO) offers a new solution to the logical security including “Windows logon,” “single sign on,” “file encryption,” and “application management.” The client authentication device is called FLO-Tube which is a USB fingerprint matching device with flash memory. The fingerprint data is encrypted and stored in the FLO-Tube and the device CPU performs the authentication. There is no fingerprint data transferred to a connected PC, establishing the highest security for the mobile device. FLO-Tube comes with flash memory (2456M, 512M or 1GB). All data is encrypted automatically and then stored in the flash memory, making a hardwire hacking impossible.
The server based user administration system is called Finger Log-On Manager. It uses Active Directory for the central administration of client FLO-Tubes. No additional fingerprint authentication server will be required.
