MONTREAL-MXI Security™, the leader in superior managed portable security solutions, today announced that its Stealth MXP and Stealth MXP™ Passport portable security devices have been certified under the SAFE-BioPharma Product Certification Program (SPCP). SAFE-BioPharma Association is a nonprofit association that created and manages the SAFE-BioPharma™ digital identity and signature standard for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
This certification assures SAFE-BioPharma members that the Stealth MXP™ and Stealth MXP™ Passport conform to the SAFE-BioPharma digital identity and signature standard. The Program imposes a stringent self-testing process on SAFE-BioPharma Vendor Partner products in order to determine their compliance with the SAFE-BioPharma standard. “By demonstrating that the Stealth MXP and Stealth MXP™ Passport portable security devices conform to the SAFE-BioPharma standard, MXI Security demonstrates leadership and opens the door to the biopharmaceutical and healthcare industries,” said Mollie Shields-Uehling, President and CEO SAFE-BioPharma Association.
Stealth MXP™ and Stealth MXP™ Passport allow researchers, vendors, regulators, and clinicians to store SAFE-BioPharma certified identities, providing secure access to VPNs and single-sign on applications. MXI Security devices, available in FIPS 140-2 Level 2 validated versions, allow its health and science clients to protect their critical data with up to three-factor authentication and AES 256-bit hardware encryption.
