Intelli-Check – Mobilisa Awarded Commercial Contract - July 16, 2008
ID-Check To Be Used in Approximately 30 Stores across The U.S.
PORT TOWNSEND, Wash.-Intelli-Check - Mobilisa, Inc. (AMEX:IDN), a technology company specializing in wireless and identity systems, announced that it has been awarded an initial 12-month contract from L.L.Bean, Inc., to install desktop kiosks in approximately 30 retail stores across the U.S. The ID Check/IM 750 system will be used in stores to aid in the process of L.L.Bean’s private label credit card applications check.

Electronic forms have great appeal because they eliminate the need for handling paper applications. Intelli-Check - Mobilisa’s ID Check BHO (Browser Helper Object) makes electronic forms processing even more appealing by automating the process of checking government-issued photo ID’s such as driver licenses, non-driver ID’s, and military IDs. It enhances productivity and data integrity by eliminating key-entry, and it improves the customer experience by making the credit application process much more secure.
Intelli-Check – Mobilisa has provided a turn-key, secure, kiosk system that is used on the store floor where consumers can apply on line and in-person. When the consumer presents their government issued photo ID, the retail store associate will check the photo for a match to the applicant, and then run it through the integrated driver’s license reader to initiate the electronic form application process, eliminating almost all the data entry required to complete the transaction.
